Dr. Marie Jhin
With over two decades of experience in dermatology and aesthetics, Dr. Marie Jhin, a board-certified dermatologist and author, leads the expert team at Premier Aesthetic Dermatology. Dr. Jhin and her team are committed to treating patients holistically, ensuring that whether it’s your skin, hair, nails, or body, you are healthy from the inside out.
Dr. Jhin’s training in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology, along with her ten years of experience as an adjunct clinical instructor at Stanford University’s Department of Dermatology, allows her to offer a unique blend of expertise. She has developed proprietary protocols and treatment techniques, which she uses to train her skilled team at Premier Aesthetic Dermatology.
As a leading expert in treating patients of all ages and ethnicities, Dr. Jhin has authored two books on Asian Beauty and brings innovative treatments from Korea and Japan to her practice. Her commitment to inclusivity and excellence ensures that every patient receives personalized care.
Dr. Jhin is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Menopause Society, and the Obesity Medicine Association. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as Chief Medical Officer for the popular telemedicine platform, Musely.
As a little girl, I always dreamed of becoming a doctor. While my Korean parents encouraged me, my true passion grew through my experiences working in underdeveloped countries during college and medical school. I began my journey delivering babies in Kenya as a college student, and later, in medical school, I cared for young children in Cambodia. Initially, I envisioned a career in international medicine and public health, but as I started my own family, my path shifted. During my internal medicine residency, I discovered my love for dermatology. I was drawn to the visible results and the immediate gratification of seeing patients happy with their outcomes.
Helping patients feel amazing and look incredible is what drives me. I believe that achieving the best results is only possible by approaching care holistically and considering the whole person. My aim is to use science-backed, safe, and thoughtfully customized procedures to deliver the most natural, beautiful results for each patient.

Lori is a board certified Physician Assistant who received her Masters in Medical Science from Northwestern University and her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry & Cell biology from University of California San Diego.
Prior to PA school Lori worked as a medical assistant in a dermatology office assisting with medical and aesthetic visits. During PA school she completed a rotation at the Northwestern Skin Care Institute in Chicago. Her love for patient care motivated her to volunteer at a free health care clinic and also work with underserved adolescents educating them on various health topics (including skin care!). After graduating, she moved back to the bay area to be closer to her family and is excited to help with your all skin care needs – whether it’s botox or a rash!
I have always enjoyed interacting and helping those around me. I originally wanted to obtain a PhD and conduct Alzheimer disease research after my grandfather passed away from the disease. However, after completing 3 years of investigative and clinical research for Alzheimer disease at UCSD I realized I missed working directly with people — I switched gears to pursue a career in health care.
Being a PA allows me to spend time with my patients; educating and getting to know them. Making my patients feel heard and cared for in addition to addressing their skin concerns is what motivates me. In my free time I love to cook and exercise, if you have a go to hiking area or recipe feel free to share it with me on your next visit!

Kathy is a board-certified Physician Assistant who obtained her Master of Medical Science at Yale University and her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from University of California, Berkeley.
Prior to joining Premier Aesthetic Dermatology, Kathy worked in allergy medicine, where she often treated patients with eczema. At Yale University, Kathy completed two rotations in dermatology and also received honors for her thesis project on skin cancer screenings. Before PA school, Kathy worked as a medical assistant in surgical, medical, and cosmetic dermatology for several years.
Kathy is very excited to be a part of PAD and to help patients with their skin, whether it’s acne, rashes, or skin care! In her spare time, Kathy enjoys Pilates, yoga, and trying new restaurants.
Since I was a young girl, I enjoyed learning about human biology. But it wasn't until I worked as a dermatology medical assistant after college that I knew I wanted to be in healthcare. I found that I loved taking care of and educating patients. It was at this job that I also fell in love with dermatology, being able to address people's skin concerns and see patients happy with visible improvement. As a PA today, being able to help patients and feel better about their skin concerns still continues to motivate me.

Katrina is a registered nurse originally from the Philippines where she received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Once moving here in the US, she went to CCSF for a nursing refresher course to brush up her skills. With a background in home health, Katrina has been working closely with patients for 14+ years.
Prior to joining Premier Aesthetic Dermatology, Katrina has been providing face and body rejuvenation treatments and has been in medical aesthetics for a decade. Her passion for skin, beauty and medicine brought her in this field. She believes that beauty is personal and so is her approach, loves to boost her patients’ confidence, and enhance their natural features. She’s passionate about results driven treatments and educating patients about procedures that would be best for achieving their goals.

Sayaka is a dual licensed Aesthetician and Massage Therapist originally from Japan, who obtained her multiple beauty certifications in Japan, and dual License in CA.
Prior to joining Premier Aesthetic Dermatology, Sayaka worked in Luxury Spa, Luxury Med Spa in Japan, and Luxury Med Spa in CA, Sayaka has been providing face and body total beauty treatments for 13+ years. Sayaka believes skin and body health leads to true beauty for individuals, which will enhance their confidence and happiness in their life. Sayaka has trained in several Aesthetics and Massage modalities and enjoys customized techniques for clients individually.
Sayaka is delighted to be a part of PAD and to help patients with their skin and body health by giving her passion and knowledge to provide relaxation and results. When she has time to burn, she likes to spend time with her husband and her friends to do some activities. She is also into discovering new restaurants in the Bay Area.
